Unsettled for much of the week but with a temporary improvement towards the weekend. There will be a touch of frost first thing Monday followed by a day of sunshine and chance of an April shower. Rain will spread up from the south giving a cloudy day for Tuesday with some outbreaks of light rain. Some sunshine and also some showers on Wednesday and some of these will be heavy. Fair on Thursday but rain will return later in the afternoon and evening. Sunshine and showers for Friday. An improving day on Saturday as a ridge of high pressure tries to build keeping it fair. Fair also for much of Sunday and some dry weather is expected for next week.
